Safe Connections Program – Lifeline

Lifeline logoSocial distancing and quarantine may slow the spread of COVID-19, but being at home in a violent or unhealthy relationship may not be the safest option.  If you or a loved one are experiencing domestic or family violence, you are not alone. You can call the DV Connect 24/7 hotline on 1800 811 811; call the Lifeline Darling Downs Safe Connections team on 1800 991 443 (if living in South West Qld); or DVAC on 4642 1354 (if living in Toowoomba or the Southern/Western Downs) for support. #llddswql #communityfirst #covid

The Safe Connections domestic and family violence program is available in Charleville, Cunnamulla, Roma and St George.

The program provides counselling to women and children affected by domestic violence as well as court based support and information to aggrieved respondents who attend court for domestic and family violence.

Safe Connections program works with victims and perpetrators to ensure a holistic approach.

This program is funded by the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women.
