Roma Performing Arts is proud to present, under the supervision of Trent Sellars, a weekly class for young theatre enthusiasts. In this initial term of classes we will be working on a play to be presented at the Dalby Drama Festival on July 14th and 15th, so we ask that all youth involved ensure they (a) have those dates available, and (b) can organise transport with their parents/guardians. Please register with Performing Arts as spaces are limited.
Dates: Starting on Wednesdays from May 9th (with a presentation at the Dalby Drama Festival on the weekend of July 14th and 15th)
Time: 3.30pm until 5.00pm weekly
Venue: Studio 5, Roma Community Arts Centre, 38-44 Hawthorne St, Roma, QLD 4455
Age/s: 14-18 years, however exceptions can be made based on experience and maturity.

Youth Insearch runs one of the most successful youth intervention programs in the country. We work with at risk youth aged 14 to 20 supporting them to turn their disadvantages into their advantages, enabling them to reach their full potential. The program has a peer focus, on young people helping young people. We run weekend workshops, local support groups in your community and leadership training.
Youth Insearch has a drop-in centre and support group for an hour a week at the Aftercare office at 35 Queen Street on every Wednesday at 4:30pm.
If you have a young person who you think would be suitable for Youth Insearch or you would like more information please contact David Davey on 0499 601 501

What: Leo Clubs are a youth organisation of Lions Clubs International. The word “Leo” stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.
When: In Roma we meet on the last Sunday of the month and have a sausage sizzle every once a month in front of Home Timber and Hardware, as well as become involved in local events.
Why: The Leo Club gives us an identity, to be a part of something and give to the community. Alongside the social aspect of this local organisation, we can feel a sense of belonging and it’s always comforting knowing that you’re making a difference whether big or small!
We encourage young people to become a part of Leos.
