Council wishes to advise residents that the Roma Big Rig and Visitor Information Centre is open, 7 days a week, from 9am-5pm.
The Oil Patch Museum is open 7 days a week, and the Big Rig Night Show operates three nights a week with tickets to be purchased from the Big Rig by close of business on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Council’s tourism staff and Visit Roma volunteers are available to share information and local tips about what to see and do around the Maranoa region.
Councillor Puddy Chandler, Portfolio Chair for Tourism said that despite the café currently being closed, the rest of the Big Rig and Visitor Information Centre is up and running.
“If you’re visiting Roma and new to the region, be sure to stop in and get the low-down on everything our Maranoa has to offer this summer,” Cr Chandler said.
The Big Rig café is currently closed for renovations, and will re-open once the upgrades are complete next year.
