Queensland Community Care Network Inc. is a Queensland based not for profit organisation, we run a number of programs all focused on combating social isolation with the aged community. Our main program is the Community Visitors Scheme, where we manage a volunteer program of people visiting elderly people who live in residential care.
We are always looking for volunteers to become part of our network. If you are interested in joining us and in making a difference in the life of someone living in residential care, we want to hear from you.

Blue Care Community Care Centre

About:

• Opening Days & Hours
Clients aged 65 years and over (or 50 and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people)-
Our centre will be open on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9 am to 1 pm.
Interactive session and morning tea will be provided. The cost will be $10/ session.

Opening Days & Hours
Clients under 65, or under 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, who live at home and whose capacity for independent is living is at risk-
Our centre will be open on Tuesday for an interactive afternoon session staring at 1pm and finishing at 4pm.
This will include afternoon tea. The cost will be $10/ session.

Thursday is an all-day interactive day, starting at 9am and finishing at 3pm.
This will include morning tea and lunch. The cost will be $15 for the full day.

Helping Hand Program – Certificate III

TAFE Queensland South West and the Queensland Government are lending a helping hand with our Training Rural Communities in a Time of Drought project. This project allows you to study a Certificate III at no cost, giving you the opportunity to learn different skills in a new industry. Taking part in this program will give you the qualifications necessary to increase your employability or help you move onto further education.
Spaces are limited and eligibility requirements apply.
