Maranoa Regional Council is excited to announce the reopening of the Roma Saleyards Interpretive Centre however COVID-19 restrictions remain enforced.
The Interpretive Centre will reopen Tuesday, 16 June for a duration of two and a half hours between 8:30am and 11:00am. The two and a half hour visitation period will remain in place for every Tuesday until further notice.
A maximum of 10 people, at any one time, will be permitted entry to the Interpretive Centre. This is to comply with the Queensland Government’s 4 square metres per person rule while indoors. A Maranoa Regional Council representative will be onsite to ensure compliance.
Upon arrival, visitors will be required to complete a COVID-19 declaration and sign in. When leaving, visitors must sign out.
Please be aware entrance to the Interpretive Centre may be delayed due to social distancing restrictions.
Upon completion of exploring the Interpretive Centre, visitors are encouraged to continue on with their journey.
All areas, except for the main administration building, remain limited to essential agents, registered active buyers with genuine intention to purchase, saleyard workers, Council staff, contractors and transport coordinators (one representative from each company).
Maranoa Regional Council thanks the community for their cooperation during these uncertain times.
