Twilight Ghost Tours

Come along for a twilight ghost and history adventure, and be taken on a guided group tour to Roma’s most alleged haunted locations, discover the ghostly tales of Roma’s yesteryear and learn why these legends still survive today.

You will be led by one of Roma’s most knowledgeable and expert historians and folklorists who will take you on a journey, turning back the pages of time, to uncover the secrets of Roma’s past, and the remarkable tales of how Roma came to be. During this, you will learn of the eerie ghost stories, urban legends and true tales of this 19th century mining town, researched from archives, libraries and locals.

Tours will take place on Tuesday 17 and Thursday 19 October, during “Australia’s Grande Country Carnivale” 2017. Tours will run with groups of 10 or more. Children must be over 5 years, and all children/teenagers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bus departs from the Big Rig Roma at 7pm (be sure to arrive by 6:45pm), and enjoy multiple stops along the way, with guided walking tours at several eerie locations. Total duration will be approx. 1.5 hours.
