Maranoa Regional Council – Storybox App

With this school break unlike any other, parents are encouraged to access Story Box Library – a free online library app to help keep children entertained at home.

The online literature collection aims to inspire children’s imagination, while improving language and literacy skills by having storytellers read stories aloud. The platform can be accessed with a Maranoa library card from any device with an internet connection.

A Maranoa library card also grants access to many other resources, including Borrow Box – an app accessible via handheld devices that provides a diverse collection of digitally formatted literature ranging from fiction to non-fiction. Catering for adults, young adults and children, Borrow Box is sure to keep the whole family entertained!

Other apps that can be accessed using a Maranoa library card include:
• Kanopy – an app offering a range of movies, documentaries and television series
• RBdigital – an app boasting an assortment of magazine titles.

For assistance, or to obtain a Maranoa library card, please contact your local library on 1300 007 662.
