Children & Parenting Programs – Facilitated by a team of Social Workers.  This service has been designed to provide early intervention support for families with children from ages 0 – 12. The service provides In-Home Support and runs groups for parents, children and families.  We also support the local area to enhance the sense of a child and family friendly community.  Please contact Katie Ferrier on 4620 4000 for more information.

Mental Health Carer Support & Respite – The carer support program aims to provide flexible support that enables carers and families to better cope with their caring role, improve their relationship with the person they support and balance their caring role with the other parts of their life.

PIR offers support to those who live with a severe and persistent mental illness with complex needs.  We cover the Maranoa Region – Roma, Injune, Mitchell, Surat, Wallumbilla & Yuleba.  Clients must be over 18yrs of age and meet eligibility criteria.  Clients can self-refer, Doctor’s referral or other community service provider.

A support facilitator can assist you to identify your needs, develop an action plan and work toward meeting those needs to improve your quality of life.

A support facilitator will also work with and support family and carers of a person who is suffering with a mental illness.
