Event 180418: Get Planning Spaces – Round 1

Applications open on 12th February 2018 and close on 18th April 2018 for funding of up to $100,000 for organisations to develop quality infrastructure planning to improve the decision making and strategic planning for sport and recreation infrastructure across Queensland.  Eligible projects include: state wide facility planning, regional recreation planning, regional sports facility planning, local sport/recreation planning, sport and recreation precinct master planning.  Eligible organisations can only be funded for one project. More information.

Event 180331: Holden Home Ground Advantage Grant – closes 31st March, 2018

Purpose:

To provide local sporting clubs with the chance to invest in clubrooms, sporting grounds, equipment or general facilities so they can continue to be a part of the Australian way of life.

 

NFP’s can apply for money for projects, or equipment, that make life easier for the members and supporters of the club. Eg, improvements to clubrooms, install new hot showers, get a new scoreboard, or purchase new sporting equipment to help the team perform on the field.

 

The program is funded by Holden who have made a long term commitment to helping grassroots sport by giving local clubs the chance to upgrade their facilities with the Holden Home Ground Advantage project.

 

To be eligible to receive a Grant, an applicant for the Grant must be:

  • a sporting club created for the purpose of playing one or more sports; or
  • a community organisation that runs and supports sporting activities as a part of its community activities, and the sporting activities conducted by the organisation must be within Australia. Holden reserves the right to consider Applicants that do not fall within the eligibility criteria set out above.

Event 180328: Get Started Vouchers – Round 11

Get Started Vouchers – Round 11

Voucher applications open on 24th January 2018 and provide up to $150 to those who can least afford to join a sport or recreation club. The predominate eligibility criteria for the program is for the child/young person, or the parent, guardian or carer, to hold a valid Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with the child/young person’s name on it. If there are significant issues that prevent the parent/carer/guardian from applying, a referral agent may apply on their behalf. Voucher applications will close on 28 March 2018 if not fully allocated as expected prior. More information.

PCYC – Located at The Roma- Bungil  Recreational Centre – Cnr George  and Quinton Streets

PCYC works in partnership with the Queensland Police Service, all levels of Government, Businesses, Young People and the Community to provide appropriate, affordable and accessible programs and activities for young people, families and adults.

PCYC offers a wide range of programs and activities to their communities. PCYC Roma currently has a range of activities and programs happening for the community to participate in; Netball, Boxing, Fitness Classes, Gym, Basketball, Volleyball plus more to come as we become more established.
