We are excited to announce our guest speaker for our International Womens Day Breakfast on 7th March is Natalie Bennett.
Natalie Bennett is a dedicated Queensland police Detective with an impressive 37-year career spanning two states in Australia. Coming from a police family with 15 members serving in various states, she has a deep connection to law enforcement. Throughout her career, Natalie has traveled widely, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and this has fostered her strong commitment to diversity and inclusivity both within the police force and in her community.
In addition to her law enforcement work, Natalie is a mother of two adult sons. She not only followed in her father’s footsteps into policing but also embraced his passion for photography. Using her camera, she connects with people, capturing special moments in their lives, as well as the beauty of sunrises and sunsets.
Natalie is set to speak at the 2025 International Women’s Day event, where she plans to reflect on her long career in policing and share insights about growing up in country New South Wales with five brothers. She credits her upbringing for shaping her into the person she is today, offering a unique perspective on the intersection of family, law enforcement, and personal growth.
