Recently our department launched the Queensland Housing Finance Loan regional trial – a commitment delivered under the Homes for Queenslanders plan (Homes for Queenslanders (housing.qld.gov.au)).

- Mortgage Relief Loan: A Mortgage Relief Loan provides short-term help to people who are having difficulties with their home loan repayments due to unemployment, accident, illness, or other unexpected or unforeseen crisis.

- Queensland housing finance loan: The Queensland Housing Finance Loan may be available for Queenslanders who can afford to buy or build a home but can’t get private finance from a bank or building society. (Please note that the Queensland Housing Finance Loan – Regional Trial, is an expansion of this loan).

- Pathways Shared Equity Loan (Only for Queensland public housing tenants): If you’re a tenant in government-owned housing but can’t afford to buy the home you’re renting, this loan lets you enter into a partnership with us to buy a share of your home.

- Queensland state housing loan (Only for Queensland public housing tenants): This loan is to help you buy the government-owned property you’re renting. You must be a tenant and intend to continue living in the home.
