REVAMPED PLAYGROUND READY FOR ACTION.
Council has completed upgrades at the playground located in Roma’s Bicentennial Park opposite the Roma Hospital.
The revamp includes a new rubberised softfall, which has now been laid and cured. There have also been some modifications to the existing play equipment to allow a broader age group including younger children to play and use this space.
The new rubberised softfall, which replaces the existing bark, is a durable, low maintenance and environmentally friendly solution to playground surfacing. The new surface significantly lowers the risk of injury if children take a tumble.
