The Best of the Maranoa

The Best of the Maranoa

The current COVID-19 crisis is having a heavy impact on many of our businesses in the Maranoa. However, as the Maranoa is underpinned by essential industries such as agriculture, mining, forestry and all levels of government, it stands well positioned to come out of the COVID-19 crisis strongly.

It is forecast that most people won’t be travelling internationally for a while, and that domestic tourism stands to benefit greatly as Australia continues to manage the pandemic well.

So……the time for promoting our region to the rest of Australia is now! Lets encourage them to come and Make Tracks in the Maranoa!

The best way to promote our region is to harness the local knowledge of our community and highlight all the Maranoa has to offer, from events to places, attractions to special spots.

Let’s encourage people to visit or even move to the region once the COVID-19 crisis has faded.

The most powerful and far reaching advertising campaign is not one that sees huge amounts of money spent, but rather a grass roots social media campaign powered by the people.

A series of sort video slides of photos that really depict the Maranoa, its people and all it has to offer, will be produced for everyone to share amongst their friends and families over social media.

Would you like to contribute and be a part of the campaign? I would love to see your photos of spots, events, attractions and places and hear your ideas.
