Lifeline – Community Drought Support Information

Lifeline LogoDo you reside or work in the shires of Paroo, Balonne or Maranoa and are suffering financial hardship due to the ongoing drought? If so, you may be eligible for financial support. Funded by the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services, grants are available to individuals or families who have been impacted by the drought and who require assistance with cost of living pressures.

Non-farming small business operators such as tradesmen and retail operators who rely on regional economies and the agriculture that underpins these economies to earn an income are also included under the program.

Other entities such as schools and Parent & Citizen Associations can also apply for funding for school related items. The grants range from $500 for an individual to $1,500 for a small business or entity. For further information and to apply please visit Lifeline Darling Downs
